The Diary Game: [20/04/2026] How my side hustle paid me today

Hello everyone,how are you guys doing? I trust you are all good. Today I want to share another episode of how my day went.Today was a very productive and rewarding day for me, and I am excited to share how everything went. I woke up early today and started with my usual morning workout, just to keep my body active and energized. After that, I prepared a simple breakfast to get myself ready for the day.Not long after, my phone rang and it turned out to be a client who needed painting services. As a student painter who just finished my semester exams, I didn’t waste time at all.

I quickly got ready and rushed to the site. Upon arrival, we had a brief price negotiation, and once we reached an agreement, I immediately start to work. As a professional painter that knows what he doing,i first prepare the room by clearing the entire space, removing the cobwebs, patching the holes on the wall and ensuring that the environment was neat and ready for the job. Preparation is very important because it determines how smooth and neat the final work will look.

I started by opening the bucket of white paint and applied it to the ceiling, since that was the required color. After about 1 hour, I was done with the ceiling and moved on to the walls. Next, I applied a deep cream color to the walls, taking my time to ensure neatness and quality finishing. This part took me about 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete. After finishing the work, I called the client to inspect it. Thankfully, he was very satisfied with the neat and clean job I did. He appreciated my effort and paid me immediately, which made me feel really proud and happy.

Right after the job, I entered a bike and headed home. On my way, I decided to treat myself by buying some food and fruits, you know a small reward for a job well done.Today reminded me that skills pay. Being able to combine my student life with a practical skill like painting is something I’m really grateful for. Hard work, preparation, and attention to detail truly make a difference and I’m motivated to keep improving and growing.
