Strawberry Moonrise

in CCS2 days ago

As always, the moonrise is an anticipation. I work out all the sunrise and shooting points at home and arrive at the planned location. However, this time there was a challenge due to the difference in elevation. I chose the Osanovskoye Field for my shoot.

The moon was still not coming out of the horizon...and it's getting dark outside.

Darkness always has a negative effect on the moon's rise, resulting in a large brightness difference.

When it got completely dark, the moon appeared.

Since there is nothing in the Osanovsky field except for individual trees, I decided to capture the moon in a blurred image with blades of grass.

I wanted to take a photo of my favorite tree with the moon from a distance, but it got too dark, and for some reason I mixed up the lenses... I took a 70-200 instead of a 100-400. In general, the idea didn't work out - I wanted a moon the size of a spherical tree.

However, I still liked this way of capturing the moonrise.

Not everything with architecture to shoot, and the angles are over, and I don't want to repeat.

On the way back, I wanted to compare the moon's disk with the round sign again...

But the focal length failed me again.
