The Diary Game :[20/7/2026]-My First Time At Beyond Convention Conference

Good evening everyone , and welcome to another episode of my diary session with yours truly @gaiussam.Today I will be sharing my first time experience at beyond convention.

Last year I missed beyond convention conference in Lagos.But this year Mr Eric Gugua the convener of Beyond Convention Conference announced that somebody has paid for 3000 tickets.And he dropped the registration link.i registered and behold I was selected among one of the 3000 free tickets to Conference.

First I got an emergency message from my school that we should come for a meeting by 10:00am and The beyond convention conference starts by 9:00am.I was so discouraged.I got to school by 9:30 wait up till 11:00 before the meeting started after the meeting closes by 12pm.I was contemplating if I should still go for the beyond convention conference because the distance is far from my school.I made my mind to go because someone already paid for my ticket.I board a bus to Ikeja where the event took place at the balmoral Convention center Ikeja.I got to the venue went to the registration stands to confirm my ticket entry for the event.

I entered inside everywhere was well organized,There were securities, protocols,media, ushers and everyone was well seated.The atmosphere was very condulsive.What shock me the crowds of youth gathered for this great event.People in Tech, business, creative, fashion design and others,All gathered together in one place.Seeing so many young people intentionally spend time learning, networking , asking questions and investing in themselves.It reminder me that growth is still a choice.
