It's my delight to take you today on a virtual tour to one of the most beautiful places in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria and it's none other than the Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort. If you're looking for a perfect place to take breathtaking photographs while enjoying nature, peace, and luxury, then this is surely a place for you to visit.
The Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort is a magnificent and luxury hotel with a 174 hectar of green lush, today I will only take you on a virtual tour to it's beautiful Marina, the lush green tropical surroundings which is perfect for taking beautiful photographs, family outings and picnics romantic dinning, relaxation, sightseeing, golfing, and nature walks
The Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort, Uyo is located in Nwaniba Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
From Uyo city, the easiest way to get to the hotel is by hiring a taxi, ride-hailing service like bolt, or drive your private vehicle along Uyo Nwaniba Road. The journey takes approximately 20–30 minutes depending on traffic. The road is well paved and one can easily locate the place using Google Maps.
Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort is a beautiful environment surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. The moment you step into it, you will be welcomed by neatly maintained lawns, towering palm trees, colourful flowers, and peaceful surroundings.
One of the first attractions I noticed was the magnificent ancient tree standing proudly within the resort. Its massive branches and hanging roots create an incredible background for photography.
The resort has 18 hole maintained golf course which are stretching across rolling green landscape that looks like something I normally see in a movie. Every direction gives just another beautiful angle for pictures.
While walking through the resort I thoroughly enjoyed the winding roads lined with lush vegetations, shaded walk ways covered with climbing plant and peaceful open fields where my kids relax.
The environment is clean, calm, and filled with fresh air, making every photograph look vibrant and natural.
I meditated a bit under the trees, my children were laughing together with their friends on benches while exploring the surroundings. Every corner of the resort tells a different story.
Gate Access:
It's free to access the resort, it's only that if you are new and want to tour the marina garden/Forest, you will need a tour guide, and the guide will fix a day that golf course will not take place (charges is applied) depending on the time and season.
I will advise visitors to inquire at the reception for for current access policies, especially if they are not hotel guests.
Opening Hours: The resort operates every day, while outdoor areas are generally accessible during daylight hours.
Atmosphere: it's a peaceful, serene, family-friendly environment, it's secure too, and perfect for relaxation. Visitors are expected to keep the environment clean, respecting hotel regulations, they shouldn't damage any plants, and should maintain quiet in designated relaxation areas.

My Personal Experience
My visit to Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort with my children with few friends was truly memorable! Everywhere was beautiful and peaceful yes perfect photography spot. The fresh air, beautiful landscape, and carefully maintained gardens created a relaxing atmosphere.
I especially enjoyed taking photographs beside the giant tree, on the open golf course, and along the quiet roads surrounded by greenery. Watching children play happily and seeing friends enjoying nature made the experience even more enjoyable!
The staff members were polite and welcoming, since we were not with tour guide, they kept telling us where to tour and directions to go. The environment felt very safe and comfortable. I left with beautiful memories and many lovely photographs that I will always cherish.
If This Place Were a Song...
If Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort were a musical genre, it would be Jazz, because jazz rhythm will match the atmosphere of the resort so perfectly! Every gentle breeze through the beautiful trees were like soft jazz music playing in the background, inviting us to relax and enjoy nature. It makes me imagine myself in a paradise!!
My Time Capsule:
If I could bury a time capsule here, then I would place a small camera inside it with a note that says:
"Protect nature, because every beautiful memory begins with a beautiful environment."
