Today, I will share with you a small but famous traditional sweet shop for all kinds of sweets. The name of the shop is Handi, and it is located opposite the District Judge Court, next to Joydevpur Main Bazar, in the Gazipur district. The shop has become famous over the past three months because of all the famous sweets of the shop. The shop is located in a place where anyone can easily get to it.

After visiting the shop, I got to see several types of sweets. The shop normally opens around nine in the morning, but the time is not exact because sometimes it is delayed opening. However, the shop is open seven days a week. This is the most famous sweet shop in the Joydevpur area. The shop is especially crowded on Fridays and Wednesdays. I bought coconut rasgulla from this shop. Which was amazing in a word!
You will find several types of sweets in the shop. One of them is laddu, rasmalai, kachagolla, chamcham, pink laddu, cashew roll, pillow sweet, and several other types of sweets! However, the famous sweet of this shop is called pillow sweet. The pillow sweets of this shop taste great. Whenever I go to this shop, I only buy the pillow sweets!

The payment system here is a cash payment. There is no other transaction in the shop. However, in the near future, the plan is to bring online payment systems such as the bKash/Nagad system online. If an online payment system is brought, it will be more convenient for the buyers.

Since the shop specializes in sweets, there is not much of a menu for breakfast or lunch. However, if you want, you can eat yogurt or rasmalai. There is also a provision for cold drinks. The sweets inside the shop are beautifully decorated, which easily attracts a buyer, and a proper, hygienic environment is maintained inside the shop.

The most striking thing about the shop is its interior design. The exterior and interior design of the shop is excellent, which easily catches the eye of the customers. Although the shop is located on the side of the road, the interior environment of the shop is quite clean. There is a seating area for the customers inside. There is also a facility where you can sit and eat sweets if you want. In addition, a basket has been placed at a specific place to throw garbage so that the surrounding environment is not dirty. In other words, creating a healthy environment inside and outside.
Which Sweet Would You Share with a Steemian Friend?
If I had the opportunity to share any traditional sweet from my area with a Steemian friend, I would actually choose Rasgulla. Because we Bengalis believe that sharing sweets is a Bengali tradition. Since it is believed that good deeds begin with sweets. I would actually share sweets with my Steemian friend.
Three Most Traditional Sweets in My Town
The most popular sweet in our city is Balish Mishti. Along with this, rasgulla is usually taken to serve at any event. However, coconut laddu and pink laddu are also very popular in our area.
Preference: Formal Shop or Street Vendor?
I personally enjoy sweets from both places. However, formal sweet shops maintain a clean and healthy environment. That's why I will prepare sweets from the formal shops. Although the price is higher, they are good for health and are also very tasty to eat.

Due to the good quality of the sweets, affordable prices, and convenient location, it is a great place for traditional sweets in Joydevpur. I liked everything about the sweet shop, from the products to the service.
