This is your friend Manuel here, and I’m really excited to bring you a new #steemexclusive digital illustration to share on my blog. This time, I wanted to bring to life the concept of an original character: a formidable warrior who has dedicated years of rigorous discipline to perfecting a devastating martial arts technique known as the “Lion’s Head Fist”… I hope you really like my idea, and here I’ll show you a bit of the complete process behind this illustration:

Muy buenas tardes mis queridísimos lectores y lectoras de #Steemit, feliz miercoles y feliz mitad de semana, espero que estén teniendo un excelente día. Por aquí los saluda su amigo Manuel, muy emocionado de traerles una nueva ilustración digital #steemexclusive para compartir en mi blog. En esta oportunidad, quise darle vida al concepto de un personaje original: una formidable guerrera que ha dedicado años de ardua disciplina a perfeccionar una devastadora técnica marcial conocida como el "Puño Cabeza de León"...espero les guste mucho mi idea y aquí les mostrare un poco del proceso completo de esta ilustracion:

For the story and concept behind this piece, I envisioned a fighter who has pushed her limits to channel raw aura and energy into her strikes. The "Lion Head Fist" is a secret, terribly destructive technique where her inner power manifests as a glowing, fiery energy concentrated in her hand, capable of shattering defenses with the force of a roaring lion. I wanted her expression to reflect supreme confidence and composure—not rage, but the calm certainty of someone who holds absolute power.

Para la historia y el concepto detrás de esta pieza, imaginé a una luchadora que ha llevado sus límites al máximo para canalizar su aura y energía pura en sus golpes. El "Puño Cabeza de León" es una técnica secreta y terriblemente destructiva donde su poder interno se manifiesta como una energía brillante y ardiente concentrada en su mano, capaz de destrozar defensas con la fuerza de un león rugiente. Quería que su expresión reflejara una confianza y serenidad supremas—no ira, sino la calma de alguien que posee un poder absoluto.

For the composition and atmosphere, I chose a centered medium portrait to focus on the warrior's serene face, her pointed ears, and the intense focal point: her glowing red fist. To complement her intense energy, I painted her eyes with a striking magenta glow and set her against a dark, atmospheric background with soft purple lighting. The primary light source comes directly from her hand, casting strong, warm red highlights across her chest, chin, and hair, while leaving smooth, deep shadows in the background.

Para la composición y atmósfera, elegí un retrato medio centrado para enfocarme en el rostro sereno de la guerrera, sus orejas puntiagudas y el punto focal principal: su puño rojo resplandeciente. Para complementar su intensa energía, pinté sus ojos con un llamativo brillo magenta y la ubiqué sobre un fondo oscuro y atmosférico con iluminación púrpura. La fuente de luz principal proviene directamente de su mano, proyectando intensos reflejos rojos sobre su pecho, mentón y cabello, mientras deja sombras suaves en el fondo.

For the final details, I worked carefully on rendering the intense crimson glow around her fist, layering soft airbrushing and bright highlights to give it a fiery, volumetric presence. I also added smooth shading to her auburn hair and skin to capture the dramatic glow of her power. This piece was an absolute blast to paint, allowing me to blend character design with dynamic energy effects!

Para los detalles finales, trabajé cuidadosamente en el renderizado del intenso brillo carmesí alrededor de su puño, superponiendo capas suaves de aerógrafo y luces brillantes para darle una presencia volumétrica y ardiente. También añadí sombreados suaves en su cabello cobrizo y en su piel para capturar el brillo dramático de su poder. ¡Disfruté muchísimo pintando esta pieza, ya que me permitió combinar el diseño de personajes con efectos de energía dinámica!
