The theme of this week is very amazing. It reflects our understanding of success in a different way. It is about that success from money and fame is something which is more meaningful and creative.

For this week by focusing the theme I chose the movie 3 idiots. It is a film that beautifully challenges the traditional definition of success. It inspires a new way of thinking.

How did the movie define success?

In the movie 3 Idiots success is not defined by the high grades. It is not defined by the prestigious jobs or social status. Instead the movie presents success as the pursuit of passion and inner satisfaction.

The character Rancho constantly emphasizes learning for the sake of understanding. He does not focus on chasing the marks or rewards. According to the movie success naturally follows those people who love what they do. It favours those who strive for excellence. Success does not favour those who blindly run after an external achievements.

The film clearly shows how society often overwhelm the individuals while choosing the careers. They push them to choose the careers on the basis of the financial stability and reputation. They do not focus on the personal interest. The characters like Raju and Farhan initially follow the strict paths chosen by their family. They chose those careers because of the pressure and expectation by their family. But when the story progresses they feel that real success lies to chase the dreams and by living authentically.

Which character had a life you admired most?

I admired life of Rancho the most. He lived his life with a sense of freedom. He lived with curiosity and confidence. It was very inspiring. Rancho was not concerned about the competition or comparison. He just focused on the learning. He always helped ithers and enjoyed the process of growth. He had simple but powerful mind. This philosophy made him stand out. It led him to fulfilling a meaningful life.

The most admirable thing of Rancho is his ability to stay calm. Whenever he is under pressure he stays calm and think differently. He always focused on understanding the concepts and solving the real life problems. While others were focusing on the marks and grades. The approach of his life was not just about personal gains. It was also about making a difference in the lives of others. For me this is the true meaning of success.

What lesson about success did you take away?

The biggest lesson from this movie which I have gotten is that the success is personal. It cannot only be defined by the society. It is not about how much money you earn. It is not about how much famous you become. It is about your personal satisfaction. It is about how feel about your life. Success is about doing what you love. It is about overcoming your fears. It is about staying true to yourself even in those times when the world pushes you in the different direction.

Another important lesson is that the fear often pushes us back from the real success. The movie shows us that the fear of failure and judgement can force people to live the lives they never wanted to live. The time comes when the characters start letting go the fear and start believing in themselves their paths begin to change for the betterment.

Conclusion

On the whole we can say that 3 Idiots redefines success as a journey of passion. It defines success as a passion, learning, and self discovery. It reminds us that real success is not measured by the wealth or frame. It tells that real success is measured by the happiness, purpose, and the courage to follow our own path. This movie has inspired me to rethink my own goals and focus more on what truly matters in life.
