THE DAIRY GAME: Yesterday was Mothering Sunday in the Catholic Church

Happy mother's Day to all the beautiful and amazing mothers!!!

It's a Sunday morning, I woke up and prepared for 7am mass as a Catholic Church girl. Although we had a combined mass both 7am and 9am mass was merged for one mass because of the mothering Sunday.

I got to the church and I was marvelled with the heavenly decorations on the sanctuary by the mother's in the church. Everything was set and ready

The women took over all the service positions in the church from the altar servers to choir to praise band to lectors to prayer of the faithful and the rest

The offertory song was so beautiful to watch the zumanta mata performance with their white gloves on their hands. They were singing and demonstrating. I enjoyed the performance.

During the announcement, they played a game. Asked 6 women to come to the front then called their husband to stand at their back. Then surprisely they brought out scarf and gave them to tire on their wives head. It was very funny 🤣

After the mass, they continued their program outside in the church premises. Where they did MARCH PASS, They had Queens at the last roles carrying local dishes to present on the high table of the occasion. they had three women groups. Honestly they did absolutely well and performed unexpectedly.

They danced igbo cultural dance with a lot of them showcasing their talents. They baked cake. The cake was beautiful decorated on the CWO color and logo on it. They did the cutting of the cake with donations.

The CWO parish women launched their ever first wrapper for the diocese of the state. Donations and contributions were made during the launch.

We were entertained with alot of drinks, food and activities. I had mad fun 😊

Mothers are heavenly helpers
Mothers gave birth to kings, queens, president, doctors, soldiers, nurses, lawyer, pilots...
When a mother trains a child well she builds a better future nation.
