My journal of the 29th July|| Promises do not always come with loyalty!

Dear diary,📓

As I settled into my comfortable chair, holding a cup of green tea after awakening and refreshing myself, I expressed gratitude to the universe for granting me another day.

During my morning ritual, I contemplated the notion that
promises do not inherently come with loyalty.
This reflection arose due to the importance of preparing ourselves each day with lessons that enhance our practicality and emotional resilience.

Understanding the deeper implications of this concept allows us to become less vulnerable to emotional harm.

It is essential to recognise that not all experiences that come easily yield genuine satisfaction.

Moreover, individuals who readily place their trust in others and accept promises made to appease them often discover, over time, that such assurances may lack sincerity. A select few individuals truly comprehend that actions speak louder than words when it comes to commitments.

As I reflected on my past interactions with various individuals,
this thought crystallised in my mind this morning. When promises are made, expectations naturally increase, and their subsequent failure can lead to significant disappointment.

We must cultivate self-respect; only in doing so can we expect others to hold us in high regard. To this end, we need to commit to a personal resolution that we shall not allow others to manipulate our loyalty
through insincere promises.

Following this introspective period, I proceeded to the kitchen to consider my lunch options. I decided to prepare chilla and thecha, both of which I have come to enjoy greatly. Thecha is a dish rich in protein,
and vitamins! It is also low in carbohydrates.

I completed my lunch around 1 PM, having opted to forgo breakfast and dinner, and consumed an additional cup of green tea later in the evening.

After my meal, I attended to the cleaning of the utensils
before taking a shower. I adhere to a somewhat unconventional routine of having lunch before bathing,
as this practice alleviates my discomfort with cleaning dishes after a shower.

Upon completing my shower,
I engaged in a moment of worship and observed the sky becoming overcast. I enjoyed the refreshing breeze outside, and around 3:30 PM,
I noted the onset of rain.
While securing the windows, I captured several photographs.

Subsequently, I received a telephone call from my cousin. Our discussion centred around the progress of our nearly completed project,
where only minor finishing touches remain.

Today, the air conditioning units installer arrived at the showroom for installation; the installation team was also in attendance. I referenced an earlier journal entry that detailed this aspect.

I then reached out to Sampa to inquire about train schedules, as she possesses considerable expertise regarding local transit routes, in contrast to my own lack of knowledge in this area. It is acceptable not to excel in every domain.

After our conversation, I noticed that the rain had subsided.

At 6 PM, I observed the sunset and conveyed my appreciation for the day's experiences. I took another photograph to commemorate the moment.

Following my evening worship, I enjoyed a cup of tea while watching television. At 6:47 PM, I received an image of the showroom from my cousin via WhatsApp.

He subsequently sent me further updates, including interior photographs, around 8:06 PM.

The showroom is going to open soon!

The installation of the air conditioning units is currently in progress and will require more than one day to complete. Six units were delivered on the day before yesterday, and installation commenced today at 4 PM.

Consequently, it is not feasible for the workers to achieve
immediate completion of the project.

The official inauguration is scheduled for September,
and all interior work is expected to be finished by that time.

As I continue to watch television, I am concurrently documenting my experiences in this journal to share each moment with you,
my dear diary.
