Today I woke up a little later than usual. After having breakfast, I spent some time on my phone finishing a few small tasks. Suddenly, one of my friends called me. He had come back to town after a long time and wanted to meet me. Since it had been quite a while since we last met, I got ready and went to meet him at a nearby shop.

It was a very hot day. After meeting my friend, we rode on his motorcycle to the bypass road. We stopped beside a small tea stall near the roadside and parked the bike there. The place was calm, and it felt like a nice spot to take a short break from the heat.

I ordered two cups of milk tea for us. While enjoying our tea, we spent some time talking about different things and catching up after a long time. Later, we bought a bottle of Sprite to cool ourselves down. My friend kindly paid for everything, which was a pleasant surprise.

After that, we headed to the canal park. I noticed that several new sitting areas had been built there. The banana- and lychee-shaped seats looked very attractive and added a unique touch to the park. It also seemed that more facilities would be added in the future, which would make the place even more enjoyable for visitors.

We sat in the park for quite some time, chatting and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Even though the weather was warm, the gentle breeze made the environment comfortable. Spending quality time with a good friend after such a long gap made the afternoon feel special.

As the evening approached, my friend dropped me off near my house on his motorcycle. We said goodbye and promised to meet again soon. It was a simple day without any special events, but I truly enjoyed every moment. Sometimes, spending a few hours with a close friend is enough to make an ordinary day feel memorable. Alhamdulillah, I had a wonderful and refreshing day.
