Achievement-1: My Introduction To Steemit

ABOUT ME

Hello everyone! My name is Mojoola, and I hail from Ogun State, Nigeria.

I am passionate about editing and design, innovation, problem-solving, and continuous learning. I enjoy exploring new ideas, developing my skills, and finding creative ways to approach challenges.

One of my long-term goals is to become a chartered accountant and build a career where I can combine my accounting knowledge with technology while contributing to the fintech community.

MY HOBBIES & INTERESTS

I have quite a wide range of interests, especially when it comes to creativity and entertainment.

Some of my creative interests include:

Graphic and editorial design
Photo editing, particularly with Photoshop and ibis paint
Beat making

Outside of my creative interests, I also enjoy:

Playing video games
Watching anime
Reading manga, manhwa, manhua, and comics
Reading web novels and light novels
Following Marvel and DC discussions
Exploring fictional worlds through VS battles, debates, and powerscaling

I particularly enjoy discussions where people analyze fictional characters, abilities, feats, and different interpretations of fictional worlds. It is one of the ways I combine my interest in fiction with my love for reasoning and debate.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

I am currently an undergraduate student at Yaba College of Technology, where I study Accountancy.

My academic journey has exposed me to both theoretical knowledge and practical experiences that have helped strengthen my technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

One of the notable experiences in my academic journey has been my Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) programme. It provided me with an opportunity to gain practical exposure and better understand how the knowledge acquired in school can be applied outside the lecture halls.

I intend to continue developing myself as an accountant, with the long-term goal of becoming a chartered accountant and expanding my knowledge of the intersection between accounting, finance, and technology.

HOW I DISCOVERED STEEMIT

I first discovered Steemit through a friend who introduced me to the platform on Facebook. They explained how Steemit combines blockchain technology with blogging and community interaction.

After exploring the platform for myself, I became interested in its unique approach to rewarding users for sharing valuable content, expressing their ideas, and engaging with other members of the community.

What attracted me most was the opportunity to have a place where I can share my learning journey, interests, experiences, and ideas while discovering what other people have to offer.

I see Steemit as a platform where I can learn from more experienced members, interact with people who share similar interests, and hopefully contribute something valuable in return.

MY GOALS

As I begin my journey on Steemit, I hope to share content surrounding some of the things I enjoy and the things I continue to learn.

This may include my experiences as an accounting student, creative projects, lessons from things I am learning, and some of my interests in gaming, anime, comics, fictional debates, and powerscaling.

Most importantly, I hope to learn, connect, contribute, and grow alongside the community.

I'm looking forward to meeting new people, exchanging ideas, and becoming an active member of the Steemit community.
