My Actifit Report Card: April 26 2026
An easy Sunday as it was time to wrap up 0acking for the trip back north with just an easy road loop for 4 miles and a couple more hiking down along the river.
I didn't push myself on the run. Just a very relaxed trot along quiet roads in the nearby housing development although it was a steady uphill as it wound back and forth until creating out and then heading down a long downhill back to the park.
Downtown Old Cottonwood was a bustling place as we walkedpast all of the quaint shops and restaurants before joining the Jail Trail to go through the bosque.
Our last hike along these sandy trails until perhaps this October as we plan to return to Cottonwood for the winter but time will tell what we do (I'd prefer Prescott or even New Mexico).
