The Diary Game: [ 17/07/2026] Today I finally Secured A Job I Have Been Waiting For

How do you describe a day filled with a lot of emotional rollercoaster, the mixed feelings and the likes well I experienced everything today . First of all on my previous episode I mentioned about a work that I was aspiring for I finally Secured it today.

I woke up this morning feeling very strong and healthy ready to start my day as usual the weather was freezing as a result of the excessive downpour lately I don't just understand this pattern of rain 🥹. Nonetheless I went to brush my teeth then decided to analyze the forex market for some minutes.

After which I went to look for something to eat. My friend chatted me up on what'sapp and said I should start preparing my documents to start coming for the work the next day , I was like so quick I wasn't expecting it to be this quick ( so I thought 🤔) without wasting time I began to search my file to arrange the necessary things needed I discovered that I didn't have current passport and I don't have a photo copy of my NIN too. And the funny thing was that it's already raining heavily I didn't think twice I went under the rain took a tricycle to the nearest cafe to do my NIN photocopy.

Once I was done with the NIN I went to a photo studio to capture for the passport. And also I needed a nin and passport as well from a guarantor so I quickly called one of my relative to help me find he's that I'm coming to get it as early as possible tomorrow and he agreed and said when he get home he will find it and keep.

I'm done securing everything and on my way home and the rain keeps falling non stop I had to branch in front of a locked store to wait it out though I'm happy that I was able to achieve what I went out for but I was already hungry and there was no food at home yet

I noticed that the more I keep waiting for the rain to stop the More it is increasing intensity I said I will carry it like that and go though I was freezing out already but I can barely do a thing as the saying goes and I quote "no food for a lazy man"

Immediately I got home I started arranging my travelling bag puting all the necessary things inside because the work place also has accomodation and I won't be coming home again it was so emotional for me and my homies especially my sweet neighbor when I broke the news to her she was so sad 🥹 buh it's what it's I have to go because my future depends on it.

Because I wasn't going to be around again she said let's play our last ludo and so we did 🥲

She couldn't believe it she was struggling to wrap it round her head that I would be gone for a while and I totally understand what it feels like . Automatically transitioning into long distance relationship and I don't even fancy it like that but that is how it has to go . What she now did was to come to my side later in the evening and we had some good moment together before she left around 9:30 pm. This was basically how everything went for me today I'm going to be right now so that I can wake up early to begin my journey.
