The Diary Game: Power Packed Sunday— Thanksgiving And Arrival Of My Long Awaited Package(26:04:2026)

Happy Lord's Day Pookies, I'm Happiness Effiong with @inemghurrl as my steemit username. Today is Sunday and Sundays are special to me because of the feeling I get when I'm in the church worshipping my maker for His faithfulness and Thanking Him for the gift of life. We first started the service at home though it was a brief one before I did some chores at home, got ready and left to church. I didn't wait to be forced to church today cos it's the last Sunday of the month and it's always power packed and accompanied by Thanksgiving and do you know what really makes this month outstanding for me? I gave my life to Christ on April, 2021. Before leaving to church, I ate breakfast of pap and akara with some fried plantain my brother gave me cos he choosed tea and fried plantain for breakfast.

I got to church and the service was nothing short of what I expected, I enjoyed every bit of it and after dismissal, I returned home with my family. I got a call few miles away from home from my school mom who informed me that my China order has arrived, I screamed so hard that it got my parents scared and they asked what was happening and I told them of the order I placed since January from my friend's brand and how I've waited for three months now for it's arrival and this news just got me super excited that I couldn't control myself. We got home and after eating my lunch, I ate and left to my friend's house to get my package and oh, mine! My items are so beautiful and I had to immediately snap and send to my friends who didn't order cos they were doubting me.

I returned home and shower my items to my mom and gifted her the three in one perfume I bought as a gift for mother's day celebration. I went inside the room to have my nap after I had some time with my family, I slept and woke up to my neighbor who asked me to weave her daughter's hair ahead of their school resumption tomorrow and I gladly did and didn't charge a dime as they were my best neighbours.

My dad hasn't been at home since afternoon cos he took a short trip to the village and he returned with lots of food items from the village, I quickly ran to him and got the bag he returned with and took it to the kitchen to offload it's content. After taking a shot of the items for blogging, I washed the star apple and took it to the parlour where we all licked them with me grossing the highest. In the evening, I joined mom in the kitchen as usual to prepare dinner before coming here to blog. Thanks Pookies, byyyyeeee.
