The place I am writing about is called Badr Pir's Shrine. It is a very well-known and important spiritual place in our area. Where many people come every day for prayers and pilgrimage. Locally, this shrine is known as an important symbol of people's faith, devotion and history.

This shrine is located inside the cloth market of Badarganj upazila of Rangpur district of Bangladesh. It is very easy to reach here as it is located in the middle of the market. You can reach Badarganj from Rangpur city by bus, CNG or auto. After that, if you enter the local market, you can easily find the shrine. Because it is a familiar place and the people around help in giving directions. Since the communication system is good, people can easily come here from far and wide.

This Badar Pir's shrine is deeply connected with the history and heritage of our area. I have heard it from my grandparents since childhood. The name of this area is Badarganj after this Pir Sahib. Which has further increased the importance of this shrine. The interior of the shrine is very beautiful and clean. The walls and floors are made of tiles and marble. Which gives the place a cool and calm feel. The grave is surrounded by an iron grill and covered with green cloth on top. Which is a symbol of respect and purity. There is good lighting and ventilation inside and there is a place for offering prayers on the upper floor. One can easily go from one floor to another through stairs.

There is no ticket or specific cost for entry here. Visitors can enter completely free of charge. However, some rules and regulations have to be followed, such as taking off shoes. Maintaining decency and keeping the environment clean. I did not see any specific shops or products for sale inside the shrine. However, since the shrine is inside the market, many times the shops outside sell products. Which the visitors buy as they wish and use for pilgrimage. Payment is usually made in cash and many people donate voluntarily. A donation box has been kept there.
