Henriette Polak Museum Zutphen for Modern Old School Art
After doing some gardening, the laundry and spending hours tidying up and arranging things at the charity shop with a colleague, I set off for Zutphen. My plan was to visit the museum and then go on a boat trip through the canals. I’d actually wanted to travel further afield, but I was simply knackered.
I paid 19 euros for the Regional Museum, the Henriette Polak Museum and two fairly small exhibitions. I’ll leave it open as to whether the museum is worth that amount, but anyone with an admission ticket gets a free cup of coffee in the museum café. I didn’t take advantage of that, mind you.
Ms Polak’s museum attracted visual artists who had been trained and worked according to the old rules. They were fed up with the newcomers who claimed to be making art – and yes, they’d be turning in their graves if they saw what’s labelled as art these days… AI at work: a crumpled tin can, painted and left in a lift, and of course the banana stuck to the wall…
In the Polak Museum, you’ll find art created in the same way as in the past. Oil paintings on paper, canvas and panels by artists trained at the University of the Arts in Amsterdam.
There are also interesting sculptures and many etchings on display. In the digital section, you can select a subject from one of the four digital filing cabinets and have four images of your choice projected onto the wall, though I must say I didn’t see many portraits under the ‘portraits’ section.

It is also interesting to note that there are pastel paintings on display, and that the visual artists who voiced their complaints helped to establish this museum and each have their own distinctive style of painting.
Incidentally, it is possible to view the paintings from very close up, so that you can also see the brushstrokes or palette knife strokes.
If you don’t feel like seeing everything, you can also buy a ticket for the Henriette Polak Museum only.

Hi miss, i just create a poll, give your opinion on poll get little steem reward automatically,
Total reward of Pool: 5 Steem
https://www.steemx.org/polls
I gave it a try. The poll should show up tomorrow.
It works the same as in the old days, which is super and a great add to the platform.
I will see what the poll will look like and try again since I do want to make it look like a post (picture included) to make it look better.
@bountyking5: I made two polls with both accounts and this is my conclusion: it doesn't look like a poll on steemit.com the html is removed. This makes it harder to use, less interesting and only interesting for this handful of people using steemx.org.
If you cannot change that there's no need to start a poll.
It might help to add an auto note that the poll only works if signed in at steemx.org, although I am not sure people are willing to sign in everywhere.
Thanks for using this feature,
Yes, it's currently a feature exclusive to SteemX.org. Since polls use on-chain data, Steemit could implement a similar feature in the future with some markdown and HTML customization.
More and more new users are joining SteemX.org every day, and the poll feature is a great way to encourage engagement and gather opinions from the STEEM community.
if someone views the poll post on Steemit, they'll only see a link of the poll on SteemX.org, and they'll need to open it there to participate.
As you suggested, I can add a note to make it clear that the poll is available and functional only on SteemX.org
Please,do so and add that note it will be very helpful. Thank you.

Congratulations! Your post has been upvoted from sc-07 account.Human talent is admirable; we are all born with a talent, a gift from God. Some discover it, while others, too focused on others, don't even realize what they possess. It is absurd to waste such a gift.
If you never get the opportunity to try out, figure out what your talent is, you cannot say it is absurd. Besides next to talent one should not do what s/he dislikes.

It's absurd, since we're all born with a mission and a talent, and some people simply focus on others, envying them, trying to bring down those who succeed, forgetting why they came into this world. I don't think that's their mission.
But it's a personal decision; everyone decides for themselves. I distance myself from these people, but not before saying a few things to them.

No one knows if they have a mission it is what they tend to believe since humans, unlike animals, seem to seek a reason for everything.
What if there is no reason? No task, no meaning?
If you do not know if you have a mission, you also cannot forget about it.i agree that there who invest a lot of time and energy envying and bringing down others.
