Assalamu'alaikum my stemian friends, today I would like to share you my story and my review of one the most popular cafe in banda Aceh.
H.O.C.O Coffee is more than just a place to drink coffee. it feels like a thoughtfully designed public space where people can relax, connect, work, and enjoy good food in a beautiful setting. From the moment you arrive, the modern cabin-style architecture immediately stands out. The high triangular roof, large glass panels, and combination of wood and concrete create a warm yet elegant atmosphere that feels both contemporary and welcoming.

One of the first things you notice is the spacious parking area, which already gives a sense of comfort before even stepping inside. Surrounded by trees and open sky, the exterior feels airy and refreshing, especially during bright sunny days. The building looks highly photogenic from every angle, making it a favorite spot for visitors who enjoy capturing aesthetic moments.

Inside, the ambience is calm and well-organized. Natural light pours in through the wide glass walls, creating a bright, uplifting environment without feeling too hot or overwhelming. We chose to sit at the back area of H.O.C.O Coffee, where the space is roofed yet designed with an open-air concept. This semi-outdoor section feels airy, shaded, and very comfortable, allowing fresh air to flow while still protecting guests from the heat.

From this spot, we had a clear view of the kids’ playground nearby. While waiting for our food, the children could play safely within sight, which made the experience much more relaxing for the adults. The open design, combined with the play area, creates a family-friendly atmosphere where parents can enjoy their meals without worry.

This back section truly highlights how thoughtfully the cafe is designed, comfortable, spacious, and perfectly suited for families who want to dine while keeping their children happily entertained.

Mushalla
In addition, the mushalla is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, providing a convenient and peaceful place for prayer without needing to leave the location.

The menu is diverse, ranging from coffee and refreshing drinks to satisfying main dishes. Whether you come for a light coffee break or a full meal, there are plenty of choices to suit your mood.
