Flower Chafer Beetle (Scarabaeidae)

in Beauty of Creativity3 days ago

As the name suggests, this species of beetle likes to spend time on flowers, seeking something that it can eat. So, I found this flower chafer in a garden. It just happened to be noticed this beetle on this spot while looking for other subjects. At the moment, it was making a slow move in which I could try to take some closest shots. Due to the windy morning, I attempted to not disturb its way but when I was directing the lens toward its face, by all of its strength, it got lost and I did not even know where it flew. It is considered as unusual beetles because they fly with their wing cases closed (most beetles lift their wing covers well clear of the body). Flower chafer belongs to the family Scarabaeidae, in the order Coleoptera.
