For this new month I made a new drawing- with step by step processes

Hello everyone, trust you had a beautiful day today. It's your friend @jewelking. Today I would love to share with you this new drawing I made in the late hours of this beautiful day. Today is the first day of the new month of May 2026, and I want to use this beautiful opportunity to wish you all a happy new month. Also I'm dedicating this drawing I made today to the beautiful members of this community (Beauty of Creativity).

It took me quite some time to make this drawing look as it is and I used a very difficult method, at least difficult for some people, a method called scribbling method. That is the method I used in the making of this drawing and I hope you follow me as well go through the step-by-step process of the making of this drawing. I hope you enjoy it.

Step 1:

I first drew the beret, then his hair which is braided, then I drew his ear, his nose and one of his eyes and it looked good.

Step 2:

Here I drew the other eyes, drew his cheeks making sure to add good enough details to it, then I drew his upper lip and lower lip with details.
Then I drew his jaw and neck with good enough details to further portray parts in shadow and those exposed to the light source.

Step 3:

In this third step, I completed the drawing by drawing the round neck of his clothing and the extended parts of it and indeed it looked just the way I wanted it to be.

The journey of scribble art hasn't been easy but I'm glad today that I can at least draw something someone can recognise and say this is what you had drawn. I may share this drawing later with my friends on YouTube.

Once upon a time, when I tried using a scribbling method to draw, nothing would make sense.
Even if it's a human I wanted to draw, there will not be any resemblance of what I drew to any human figure or even any meaningful thing but so far so good and I'm happy for the little wins 😊
