Watch a movie that speaks of courage and resilience

After careful consideration of several movies that talks about inner strength, I finally concluded on choosing the movie"Wednesday"
This is a powerful story that clearly speaks about courage and resilience It's storyline strongly explores personal strength, emotional growth, and the challenges of facing both external danger and internal conflict. The main character who is Wednesday Addams, presents a unique kind of resilience, one that is not loud or emotional, but quiet, controlled and deeply internal

What or whose inner struggle stood out the most for you in the movie?

The inner struggle that stood out the most for me in the movie is was Wednesday's difficulty with emotional connection. From the beginning of the movie, she isolates herself from others believing that feelings are a weakness and that depending on the people only leads to disappointment.
This mindset shapes how she interacted with everyone around her, including her own family and mostly her friend Enid Sinclair. While Enid was a warm and expressive person, Wednesday remains distant and guarded.
However, beneath her cold personality lies a deeper conflict, she is not entirely incapable of feelings or emotions but rather unsure of how to handle emotions when they arise.
This creates tension within her, as she slowly begins to care about people but resists showing it. Her struggle is not about physical survival, but about learning to face vulnerability, which is just as challenging in its own way

Which moment showed real strength and why ?

The moment that showed real strength was when Wednesday continued her investigation into the mysterious killings at her school"Nevermore Academy", despite being warned severally to stop. She risked her safety, her place in the school, and even her life in her determination to uncover the truth. This persistence shows a strong sense of courage. However an even more powerful moment occurs when she was betrayed and realized that someone she trusted, Tyler Galpin was actually the Hyde involving the mysterious killings at her school. At that moment she was actually texted not just physically but also emotionally. Trust does not come easily to her and the moment she actually decided to trust, she was betrayed and proven wrong which would have made her shut down completely. But instead she chose to keep going and this decision to continue despite betrayal and fear is what defines real strength. It shows that resilience is not just about facing enemies but also about overcoming disappointment and self doubt

Another display of strength was in her relationship with Enid. When Enid walks away after feeling unappreciated, Wednesday was forced to confront the impact of her actions. Admitting that she was at fault. Even if she didn't openly apologized in a dramatic way, her later actions showed that she valued the friendship. This scene highlighted a different kind of courage, the courage to change

How did the character changed by the end ?

By the end of the story, Wednesday Addams went through a quiet but also meaningful transformation. She did not suddenly become expressive or overly emotional, which would feel unrealistic for her character. Instead her growth is seen in small but significant ways. She begins to accept that relationship have value and trusting others does not actually mean weakness. She becomes more open to working with people instead of always acting alone. Most importantly, she starts to recognize her own emotions rather than completely ignoring them.
In conclusion, Wednesday Addams presented courage and resilience in the movie through a character who challenges the typical idea of strength. Wednesday's journey shows that bravery is not always loud or obvious. Sometimes it is found in persistence, in facing uncomfortable truths and in allowing oneself to grow.
Her inner struggle, her actions in moment of difficulty and her gradual change all highlighted that trie resilience does not only come from enduring hardship, but from evolving through it.
