Things To Look Forward To 😎👍………… North Cascade Wanderings

Things to look forward to……well we had a little setback with the weather today as a super fine misty rain was the ticket for the morning. It was kind of amazing just how drenched everything was with that type of rain?☔️ It did clear up somewhere around the noon hour but only in the rain stopping. The clouds remained. 😔

I was stuck inside anyway, but it’s still nice to look out and see the sunshine!🌞 That got me thinking about the warmer months to come and some of the things to look forward to. That first picture is of Ghost Pipe ‘shrooms. They grow in the forest and only under the right conditions, so you don’t see them every year.

Vanilla Leaf-smells like vanilla as you might have guessed and when you rub it besides releasing the fragrance, it’s also a natural bug repellent!

Digitalis-also known as Foxglove, appears in colors from white and peach to pink, purple and fuchsia. They attract hummingbirds and bees!🐝

Then, there’s always adventures with @actifit-lamb down by the sea!

Speaking of the sea, if we get a low tide, we might find some of these……

Sadly, if they are out of the water, I’ve read they pretty much don’t survive. I’m not 100% convinced of that. It would be sad indeed. 😔

Enjoy more things to look forward to!

Work was super busy with no end in sight this week. Over booked all week. May isn’t going to be much better! I’m tired already. 😴
