I Refuse To Be Brought Down: Lessons From A Mount Zion Movie

I thank God for a blissful family, personal life and for the light He's placed in my heart.
Shining can be sometimes hard, but one thing is sure: God's love can pierce through every veil and darkness.

I am of the Lord, for He created me and He will take care of me. Shortcuts grow, and many quote flowery words to back up the devil's bottle of mischief, but one thing is for sure — I refuse to be brought down.

The world seems enticing, but what good is the world if God's love that has always been with me keeps turning away? What good are riches and wealth when God's love is being blocked from reaching my arms? No one is forced to believe, but I still share that Jesus Christ is Lord. No matter how lost you are, God's hands are not too short and His love never runs out.

A robe to please me today is burnt tomorrow, but there exists something eternal that is neglected: your race in this life, standing and moving forward in God's light. For to be self-minded will lead to destruction, but to be spiritually minded in God's love gives life.

This is a teaching to myself and to others, for to use a two-edged sword, you must have first been cut by it before you can skillfully cut with great accuracy.

This is a lesson from a movie I watched tonight. There are ways within that are hard to share, and I'm not sure I can hear the hearts of others. Sometimes the signs you seek might not come, for without faith no man can see God. And His messages might not come in the form of bright and shiny feathered beings. For God in us can do the trick, and all that's left is to study the Word so that you are not led astray by the devil in the angel's attire you so much desire to see.

We have a lot to think of, but never forget: we don't get to decide what the president wears to his banquet, and neither can we with God. Repentance He calls to all souls, for He feels the pain of losing His sheep and He never closes that chapter until the time does come.

Take your time to think these through, for I can only speak words but the true Master knows the movement of the waves of the heart, and I surrender. I'm not here to claim anything, but I just hoped that through me the light could glow. low have I started, but wiser and bolder every day I become, whether in small bits that might be considered intangible or in greater bits.

Look at me not as one who's been white as snow from birth, but as someone who's been lost and got called back to the light where he can see. Everything is a journey, but there are two paths to take. Whether it is liked or not, everyone's got a choice.
