Soul lighters has been finally published
I labeled it “Chapter 1” on GlobalComix because the site doesn’t have a “Prologue” option. But this is actually the Prologue to Soul Lighters.

The 3D Blockout

I built the church in 3D first to test camera angles and lighting before drawing.

Flat colors, basic shapes. I’m learning as I go — started this comic late last month. 3D saves me hours of perspective guessing so I can focus on mood.

Then I painted over it. Night scene, gold cross, dark leaves, “in the beginning was the Word.” The 3D gave me structure. The painting gave it weight.

Story note: We open “20 years later, March 19, 2008.” The school panel is just the establishing shot. The Prologue really begins at this church. Chapter 1 of the main story is next and will post Ronke issue 1 in next 2 weeks or less— I ran out of time to make her a cover page, but she’s coming.
