WHY The change?( Mr Art and poetry took over)

Happy Sunday and happy new week, guys! It’s been a while since I sat down to really write a post. I’ve been doing freewrites a lot lately so I don’t lose the little skill I have with poems 🤤, but this one isn’t a freewrite.

So, first on the menu: How has this old been doing, and why did he suddenly start writing poems again? Isn’t the comic doing fine, or is your head in some spaghetti?

Well, I definitely had beef with someone when I wrote this (https://www.steempro.com/@dreeyor/there-s-no-we — and don’t ask if it was my roommate, because it definitely was 😂). I wasn’t supposed to post it at all. But then I had nothing to draw and nothing to post, even on my Hive account. That’s when Mr. Art and Poetry became my rice and beans, so I cooked it on the flames.

Freewrites became my go-to in the lecture hall. I’d scribble them down when the lecturer took a break to discuss things that were none of my business, or while I was waiting for the next lecture. Also, I’ve been conserving my phone battery because my power bank is down. I noticed the phone drains faster now, even after paying to charge it fully. It used to last me a week, but now it’s 3 days at most with minimal use. That alone has turned me into a bit of a minimalist 😂.

Next up is my comic. It’s not on hold manually, but it is on hold digitally. Truth is, I’ve been needing a lot of support lately, even with my studies. So what’s up, if you ask me? Ronke the comic is coming soon, or probably next. After that will be Silent Hawk and Soul Lighters.

I’ll likely continue in that order as the Spirit leads 😇. Someone also gave me a task for him and his mission, but I don’t know if he’ll let me post it here later.

I initially planned to make this separate posts, but I’m tired of manually rewriting or using AI to twist the same post from Hive for STEEM. So I’m just adding everything and talking about it here. The contest itself came from Hive, through a collaboration between NFTShowroom and AlienArtHive. Last month’s theme was "Floral Fauna," and I guess that’s how my NFT came to life — plant and animal fused into one.

So, what else did I want to post this week?
Aha! Our department football competition on Friday. I don’t play football. I was just watching because it was our beautiful 100 Level vs the 300 Level seniors.

It turned into a David vs Goliath story because we won on penalties. The sweet part? We also won first semester 😇. We are too good 😊.

There’s more I wanted to share, but it’s slipped my mind. That’ll be all for this blog post.
