Unexpected snowfall

in CCS18 hours ago

It's the same thing every year, and I'm so used to it that if it doesn't happen, then something unusual will happen. Snowfall in April after the snow melts completely is the norm for Vologda!

The winter was good and I enjoyed it to the fullest, but I don't want to go back to it anymore.

I've always had about the same attitude towards snowfalls.

I know for sure that this snow will melt as soon as possible and it will be warm again.

Therefore, you can always have fun photographing during an "unexpected" snowfall.

Moscow was not lucky at all: they have absolutely everything "fine" with snow there this year.

Freshly fallen snow always creates a good contrast, which is favorable for photos.

Also, snowfall is often accompanied by cataclysms, which is also good for a reportage photo.

In general, everything that is sudden, unexpected and different from everyday life in weather and nature is good for photography!

...It's a strange spring this year.

The snow melted incredibly fast in March, but the whole of April is like November.

I like it, of course!

But sometimes there are notes of autumn in the mood...it doesn't have a negative effect, it just knocks down the spring vibe.

It's probably not the first time I've talked about the color in the pictures...I suspect that this will bother me in the near future.

After all, I've never paid attention to color so specifically.

Perhaps this is a new global creative wave that has replaced reportage.

Now the color will be fundamental in all the scenes.

Composition, graphics, and other techniques and elements of the frame will not go away.

They are already recognized and registered automatically.

But I haven't worked so closely with color yet.

Let there be color!
