My story 21/5/2026 : Delicious sushi makes little girls happy with My Good Day.
Hello, my lovely friends! Today is another wonderful day for me. I'm so happy to see my children smiling and laughing. I enjoy life and seeing beautiful things, even the smallest ones, even things I see every day. I receive care and attention from those around me, from my husband to my children. My good story begins today...
In the early morning, I continued my usual work after delivering flower garlands to customers. Now I have plenty of free time. After sending school photos, I dedicate time to myself, doing housework occasionally – it's okay, I'm not in a hurry, but I still have to do it, haha! Confusing, isn't it?... After dropping the kids off, I usually spend time with the trees and flowers next to the house every morning because they are blooming beautifully every day, even though some wilt and fall off in the afternoon.
A single purple flower grew among other plants that I had planted. It grew naturally, but it produces beautiful, delicate, small purple flowers. This morning, they were blooming profusely, making its beauty something I could never tire of. Every morning I go to look at them and never forget to take pictures. Even though it's the same flower, each new bloom that appears each day is different.
After that, I did the housework and went about my normal life until it was time for evening work... I prepared dinner, choosing three simple dishes. One was tofu and minced pork soup, another was stir-fried cucumber with eggs, and the third was just plain stir-fried vegetables. I didn't add anything special; it's a common Chinese way of eating. Since living here, I've been learning to cook similar dishes to those of the Chinese.
My husband returned home at 5 o'clock. My two daughters spent time with me, helping with the housework; one swept and the other helped cook rice. It was so sweet and always makes me smile to see my children showing such care and helping their family. When my husband arrived home, the children were so happy. They put down what they were doing, ran out to greet their father at the front door, and then helped him carry the groceries inside. What made my youngest daughter so excited was that she was overjoyed because my husband had bought her sushi today!
My little one was so happy! She ate with great relish, smiling from ear to ear. Her dad was so kind today. She kept praising him, saying how kind he was and how happy she got to eat such delicious food. Haha, look how sweet she is! Dad will probably have to buy her more often now... And my husband didn't forget to buy some for me too. Actually, it was already time to prepare dinner, and I wouldn't have minded if he hadn't bought anything, but he still showed his thoughtfulness... That alone made me so happy today...
After finishing cooking, I took out the trash in front of the house and was about to weed the small vegetable patch when my eyes caught sight of a tiny insect hiding under some leaves. Its cuteness made me want to capture the moment, so I grabbed my phone and took a picture. Actually, I usually carry my phone with me to watch series or listen to the news. But today, I used it to photograph this little insect. It was a lovely moment for me, and I also posted it on Facebook as part of my income-generating activities...
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to read my article today... Even though sometimes it's the same old stories of daily life with not much change, at least it lets me know that here I can share my stories with friends and also record memories in my Steemit diary... See you again in the next article, goodbye everyone...
