I will post about the sweet food khurma. I saw this shop next to the gate of Dhaka Airport Station. This shop opens at 9 am and closes at 8 pm. It is a temporary shop. The shop owner sells khurma on a three-wheeled cart and roams the streets of the city. This shop was tidy. He covers the food.

Khurma is my favorite food. I love eating khurma very much. I still buy khurma sometimes when I go to the market. When I was a child, I used to give Tabarak to the mosque every Friday. Khurma was given after the prayer. I always tried to participate in the prayer time in the mosque because of the greed for these khurma. I used to like it very much when I saw khurma.

I saw a traveling persimmon vendor selling persimmons in the market. He travels to different places in our city and sells persimmons every day. I really liked one thing about this shop. He covered the food very well with glass. So that no dust or sand could enter from outside. I asked him how long he had been doing this business. He said that he had been doing this business for 10-12 years.

Currently, due to the increase in the prices of goods, they are not making much profit in business. Sugar and flour are needed to make these dates. The prices of these ingredients have more than doubled in a short period of time due to the war. Moreover, the demand for khurma is not what it used to be. If you sell it all day long in different places, you can earn around 200 to 300 tk. Khurma is made with both jaggery and sugar. However, khurma made with sugar is more available everywhere.

He runs his shop on a three-wheeled cart. Three wheels are attached to the bottom of the cart. I took several pictures with his permission. Finally, I wanted to take a picture of the shopkeeper and he expressed interest in letting me take the picture. I bought khurma from this shop and brought it home. Even though it is a mobile shop, I really liked the khurma here. Many people have a negative perception that the quality of food from mobile shops is not very good. Moreover, khurma is now very rare in our area. Various hotels no longer prepare khurma like before.
