Playing games on Steemit now - Cur8 games

Wow I did not know till today that there were games on Steemit. I was scrolling through my general feed and I came across a post by @erinleeishere.

And I read it, at first I thought it was just some random game the person played and decided to talk about it on Steemit but it was not, it was actually a game connected to the blockchain. So I searched for the link to the game site and I went there.

I logged in with my Steemit posting key and username. I got free coins right after loading because there was this gift box and I pressed it and they said claim a daily reward. I earned 10 coins by collecting the Day 1 Daily Login Reward. I was on the platform as a Level 1 Novice.

I was actually excited to get started because I didn't know how Steemit games would look like.

The first game I saw is the first game I played, it's called Sky Tower, and I was supposed to stack some blocks on top of each other. I've played arcade games similar to this and it was fun so I was liking this one.

I had two tries and on the first, I was able to stack the tower all the way to a height of 41 and achieved a max combo of 5 before it fell. During this try, I also scored 22 perfect blocks and received +9.05 XP. I don't know what the XP is for so if anyone does they can tell me in comments please.

But the first try taught me what the game was about and I'm already good at such games.

I started the second one strong after I stacked blocks to reach a height of 101. I also scored my first 74 perfect blocks, and a high combo of 14. That's a tower completion prize of +16.05 XP. I know it'll be useful since we earn them so I'll keep earning them.

I went to a menu called Quests menu. I discovered that I completed a quest, the daily quest, Perfect Architect after completing 30 perfect blocks. The game gave me a gift of 5 coins and 25 XP which brought my XP to 50 and coins to 15.

Apparently there's a Leaderboard to this thing. I looked at the leaderboard and discovered my score of 101 put me at rank #9. Hurray to me.

I then looked for the next game since this game was fun. I chose the second game Blocky Road, which seems to be an endless runner where you move an animal block through blocky roads and different things.

Just like Sky Tower I took two attempts.

On my first one, I scored 28 before a train hit me and on my second one, I scored 40 after bypassing roads by riding on logs, but I accidentally sunk into the river and it was game over for me.

Then I browsed the platform's library and passed some games of interest like Space Shooter and Merge Tower Defense. "Rainbow Rush" caught my eye, so I chose that game. But I was on a loading screen because my Internet connection was getting poor.

I'll share the game with the friends who love playing games, it's very nice so I think they'll love it.
