I headed into World 1 using my Vanguard ship again. As would, the game began in the First Contact zone, which went well since I defeated 14 enemies and collected Chain Lightning.

While Skirmish was not challenging, I successfully killed 18 enemies and picked up Cool Exhaust, enable non stop shooting. Well I guess. And I'm on normal as difficulty so I won't brag.

In the Pincer Attack section, I faced some action since I had 20 enemies to destroy, and I picked up Auto Shield as a reward. There were many targets during the Swarm Incoming challenge, but I destroyed 24 enemies before getting Magnet Field. Next up was a battle against a boss at the Crimson Vanguard sector.

This boss released a series of bullet and laser patterns, and I was able to dodge a few, I'm not too good with the dodging aspect and shoot the boss but still struggled to survive because of the difficulty of the patterns. The boss shattered my defense shield, and my play ended at level 5.
