You're just going to keep waiting for someone to come and save the day because the real truth is, no leader is going to walk into the situation and save everyone.

The world is not designed to be fair or equitable and you know that but to have the boldness to admit it to yourself and take action on your own life is the problem you actually have.

History has shown time and time again that shifts and transformational change come from the people and not some politician or government. You might argue this and it's in your right to do so especially if you're a South African but Nelson Mandela's prison time was not necessary what gave South Africa independence, I would argue that it was when the people colonizing them and the powers that be decided independence was to be established in the nation. Imagine if they had said no, it would have been a serious war just to get the land back.

The power of change, nationwide change is in the hands of everyone in the nation and not one hero or a group of heroes.

No one person or plan from the top is going to do anything. Your habit of looking for a leader and waiting for direction is the very reason your world is stagnant. Believe it or not, everyone has their own world in as much as we live in the same one. You could be crying and sad and miserable and poor and in desperate need of help, resources and money. There's someone with the exact opposite, money, fame, health, at peace and living meaningful life. Same planet, but two different worlds.

You assume that giving your responsibility to someone else will change the situation, and they are both hand in hand. You don’t have to wait for the person to do it for you. You don’t have to do anything big or noticeable. You have to do something real and authentic.

People have the wrong mindset if they are waiting for anything. That is the crisis in and of itself, the stagnant, collective hesitation across everyone. You can’t keep thinking you don’t have the resources or capabilities to change, it'll stop from making the attempt. Your habits in itself makes a change that you can’t measure or keep track of. You can’t keep assuming nothing you do matters.
