it was weekend outing, but not to any other place than my family house, that's where I was raised before I went to school and decided not to go back home after I finished schooling, not because I didn't like my home but I have to be out there to gather experience, work hard and make money so as to make my parents proud.

My girlfriend and I

Yesterday Sunday, I took my girlfriend home, to show my parent whom I love and would love to spend the rest of my life with. When I reached home, I didn't meet my mum, she haven't come back from church but I met my Dad and he asked me who's my friend and my told my Dad it's my girlfriend and he just smiled and said, "you are a grown man and you can get married, so I have no problem with you having girlfriend". After good ten minutes, my mum arrived from church.

Mum didn't even ask me question because she's aware of my coming and who I'm coming with and she already know her name, as she entered, she said to my girlfriend "Wunmi Bawo ni" meaning; Wunmi how are you? And she said fine. So you've known her before? Dad asked and mum replied "we've talked on phone" Although I'm a bit closer to Mum than Dad and Dad understands

The challenge
While both mum and Dad were trying to know my girlfriend at the living room, rain started falling and if the rain didn't stop in time, we won't be going home definitely because there's a particular river that jumps fridge whenever rain falls heavily, so I was praying inside me because we have another place to visit on Monday which is Easter day, luckily, the rain stopped and we headed home (my place) so the challenge too care of itself.

Feelings of the family members
My brother commended my girlfriend that she's beautiful, intelligent and respectful, my mum was very happy with her because she brought her so many things including slippers, juice, bread, detergent for washing, etc. so they have become best of friends in just little time and my Dad was very happy with my action.
