DP Fast Food Tea & Coffee House
I visited DP Fast Food Tea and Coffee House, where a variety of appetizing fast food items are available alongside coffee. Students, couples, and the general public come here to satisfy their cravings for coffee and fast food. They serve only machine-made coffee to their customers.
The coffee shop is located next to the GEC Convention Hall, to the left of Chittagong's most well-known GEC Circle. Being situated right next to the highway in a highly commercial area, the attraction of coffee easily catches the eye of customers, and most people come here specifically to have coffee.

In terms of structure and interior design, this coffee store is very simple and resembles any ordinary food shop. Since it is budget-friendly and coffee is just one of the options rather than being a specific coffee-centric shop, you won’t find any fancy interior here. In fact, customers even have to stand and eat.
The shop is a tin-shed structure with enough space inside to store goods. In the front, there is a glass food container where the fast food items are displayed. At night, a separate light is turned on inside this container, which attracts customers from afar. Additionally, the food prices here are very low.

Respecting the contest topic, I will only focus on the coffee at this store. They sell machine-made coffee here, though I personally find hand-brewed special coffee more delicious. Even though it tastes a bit bitter, the authentic flavor of coffee is found in that. Once a customer orders coffee, the shopkeeper starts the process and serves the ready coffee within just one minute.

Below, I am listing some of their food items along with the prices:
| Food Item | Price (BDT) | Price (STEEM) |
|---|---|---|
| Coffee Cup | 30 BDT | 6.34 STEEM |
During my recent visit, I ordered a coffee. To me, its taste felt just like any other machine-made coffee. Since it was very hot, it took me some time to drink it, but it could be described as overall acceptable. Although I don't know the exact amount of coffee powder used in it, a good amount of sugar was added.
Since this is not a specialized coffee shop, there is no other option but to drink this single variant of coffee. However, I noticed that for regular coffee drinkers, this is quite good as a budget-friendly option, and many customers were thoroughly enjoying their coffee. Payments must be made manually here, as there is no digital payment system.

✓ What is the first thing you look for in a coffee shop to decide to stay and eat there (the atmosphere, the service, the menu)?
Whenever I sit in a coffee shop and decide to have something, I first observe its service and environment. There are many excellent coffee shops in my city with beautiful environments where one can sit for hours without any hassle. People mainly visit coffee shops to spend quality time, whether by themselves or with someone else, which is why I pay closer attention to the environment and service.

✓ Do you prefer traditional cafes with classic flavors or do you like trying modern places with innovative offerings?
I prefer a modern place with innovative offerings. No matter how good or varied the coffee you order in a coffee shop is, its taste will ultimately remain within the essence of coffee, there might just be a slight variation in types, but I believe the taste of all varieties is quite similar. Therefore, if the coffee shop's setting is innovative, even a very simple coffee becomes highly enjoyable.
✓ For you, is a coffee shop an ideal place to go and share with family and friends, or do you prefer to go alone to relax?
For me, a coffee shop is the perfect place to hang out and chat with friends, or to sit with a client for important discussions and showcasing work. In such cases, I would definitely choose a coffee shop with a beautiful, peaceful, and customer-friendly environment where customers are not disturbed.

Good post. In a busy and commercial area like the GEC intersection in Chittagong, the usefulness of such budget-friendly small shops is different. Serving machine-made coffee in a minute for just 30 taka, this shop aims to quench the thirst of the passersby. I think the experience of drinking this coffee while standing there, where your own choice is an aesthetic environment and hand-brewed pure coffee, has created a great contrast. I saw the food list from the pictures you shared, a budget-friendly fast-food shop. I have not participated yet, but inshaAllah I will participate. Best wishes to you in this contest. 🙂
