Many neglect the little act of goodness and tend to say it's not their business but the truth about being good is that you cannot force it, pretend for long to be it even if you act like it, walk like it or “look it”. Goodness has an internal glow that radiates on the outer and endears those who see it to its undeniable light.

Goodness inspires observers to do you good, to honour you, to reward you, to see what you never campaigned to be noticed for. It inspires people to shower love on you even without asking. Goodness does not refuse to uphold truth. It unfolds authenticity and that in itself cannot be imitated, you will run out of “scripts.” Selah! Goodness has no manifestos, it isn’t seeking political offices so it doesn't need to cajole you to win you over and then change later, No. It just functions in its essence: Being good!

Goodness ignites observers to speak good of you even in rooms where evil was cooked against you, so much that even when evil wants to have the final say, goodness identifies like-minds in that room and they speak up for you from the hearts where goodness inhabits. Goodness cannot be won over by evil intentions to gain pity or promote evil. It knows what truth looks like and chooses not to belong elsewhere. Goodness doesn't spread lies or build walls in an attempt to stop others from progressing.

Goodness inspires people to plot "coups" and orchestrate a spectacular, well-meaning gesture to bring the receiver joy. The type that these colleagues planned and executed well to surprise their colleague. We all aren’t perfect. No. Infact, at all. But as much as we can, in the littlest way possible, let's embrace goodness. Goodness lightens up every path it touches and returns a harvest of hearts.
