The Diary game. Better life with steem. A Rainy Day, Office Duties, and an Evening with Friends. 31 july 2026

I woke up early in the morning and started my day by offering the Fajr prayer. Prayer is an essential pillar of our faith, and beginning the day with it is very important. After finishing my prayers, I did some exercise. Exercising helps me stay fit, keeps my mind fresh, and allows me to remain positive throughout the day.

After my workout, I had breakfast and got ready for the office. These days I am posted in my own block, so it takes me only about 10–20 minutes to reach the office. As soon as I arrived, I got busy with my work. One of my colleagues, who sits at the desk next to mine, was absent today, while the rest of my colleagues were present.

I spent most of the day updating the cash books because an administrative inspection of our office is expected soon. During such inspections, all our documents and records must be accurate and up to date. I also prepared a cash book for the income generated under one of our schemes, which I had not completed earlier. It was a lengthy task, but I made sure that everything was properly recorded and organized.

Later, I checked several work bills that are likely to be cleared for payment in the coming days. I carefully verified their estimates, approvals, and all the supporting documents before attaching them to their respective files. I also updated my online Excel sheets, which is very important because our office has recently received a significant amount of funds that now need to be utilized properly. Keeping all the records updated is therefore essential.

We had lunch in the afternoon, and after working continuously until around 4:30 p.m., I left the office and returned home. Once I reached home, I planned to visit one of our orchards with my family. However, it had rained earlier in the morning, making the road muddy and slippery, and my car was unable to climb the steep track.

After reaching home, I had a cup of tea and freshened up. We then tried once again to visit the orchard, but unfortunately the car kept slipping, so we had to turn back. Instead, we went to another orchard located right next to our village. There, I checked the water that we had already stored for spraying pesticides. We will need to spray the orchard in a few days, so storing water in advance is necessary. We will still need some more water when the spraying begins, but we can arrange that later.

While I was there, my phone rang several times. A friend called me two or three times, and I decided to join him. First, I dropped my parents back home, and then I left with my friend. We had initially planned to go out for something to eat, but on the way we changed our plan and decided to visit Sarishri and offer the Maghrib prayer there. We took a shortcut and reached there in time for the prayer.

After offering Maghrib, we still had plenty of time, so we walked around the market, looked at a few shops, and enjoyed a cup of tea together. Later in the evening, we returned home. By the time I got back, it was already dinner time. After having dinner, I went to my room and finally went to bed at around 11:30 p.m.
