The Diary Game: [30/04/2026] ‎From Morning Runs to Night Thoughts

Greetings my dearest people. I want to believe you're all doing well. ‎Very early in the morning today my alarm woke me from a very comfy sleep. Somehow I knew I was going to be stubborn to leave the bed, so I had a queue of alarms set to wake me up. I believed that before the third would ring I would finally wake. Well as it were, I woke from the 2nd cause the volume was really calling out to me, and I knew I was going to go for a jog before carrying out any other of my daily routine. I got dressed and moved out. I decided to try a new distance today cause the level of football I play now requires much endurance, and the only way I can attain that is by practicing on my running distance. So I ran a bit past my usual destination, with a uniform velocity while timing myself to see how long it'll take. To be honest, I was gasping.

When I reached the house, my dad was waiting on me to wash his car. I didn't even undress, I just went ahead to clean the car. Today was quite different a bit cause the number of persons I greeted while on the wash was very surprising. It was more like everybody decided to step out of their houses. It was very questionable and at the same time funny. ‎As I finished with the car, I rushed to complete my chores so I could go to school early because I had morning lectures today.

At the school, we had a lot to learn. I was in between trying to comprehend what I was taught while also dealing with stress, tiredness, and hunger. At a point I felt wiped. I was physically present but mentally fluctuating. Though I managed to complete some assignments, pushed through the lectures, and socialized with friends.

In school

From school I decided to visit one of my course mates who happened not to be in school today. I went there with few other friends. We branched a shop to buy some goodies for the guy.

At his place he explained what kept him from coming to school, and we shared all the experiences we had in school today. Then we decided to prepare something small to eat. Few optioned for fries while percentage of us went for rice. The majority won, so we prepared small jollof rice and got ourselves ready to dine. At this time the whole place was scorching, and we began making fun of the guy for not having a good air conditioned facility. Tho we didn't solely blame him cause our country's power supply management are not even trying. We were left with no option than to fan ourselves with the available booklets. The rice wasn't really plenty, but the fun and cruise was overwhelming.

Time flew before our eyes without us even noticing, so at about 6:30 pm we all decided to retire to our different houses.
‎I got home, took a shower, and reclined slowly on my bed, reflecting on everything; the stress, the exhaustion, the wins, the effort, and the connections. It was all lovely.
