Noyyal River
The river shown in this video is the Noyyal River, which flows right through the city of Coimbatore. At one time, it carried fresh, sweet water, but now it has become polluted and unfit for use. However, the water remains relatively clear in our specific area; my husband recorded this video while out on his morning cycle ride and shared it with me, and I am happy to share it with you. He has told me many stories about playing in this river during his younger days—recounting how he used to swim and bathe in it with his friends. It is disheartening to see that the water is now so polluted that one cannot even touch it.
