The diary game || Better life with steem|| Enjoying Sunday
Since yesterday was Sunday, it was a holiday here. As my son also had the day off, he began playing early in the morning. He took out the LEGO set his sister had sent him, followed the accompanying instruction manual, assembled the various pieces, and skillfully constructed a beautiful F1 car.
After working diligently for about an hour to assemble it correctly, he had created a truly magnificent model. I was absolutely amazed to see it. While he was assembling it, he became quite tense whenever he encountered a few errors; however, I refrained from helping him, as I wanted him to figure out and resolve the issues on his own. Eventually, by repeatedly consulting the manual and fitting the right parts into the right places, he successfully completed the F1 car. Once it was ready, he drove it around and played with it, which brought me great joy.
Yesterday, the weather here was extremely hot, making it impossible to venture outside; consequently, we all remained cooped up indoors. There was an IPL match scheduled for the afternoon, featuring a face-off between CSK and the Gujarat Titans. As we are avid CSK fans, we were eager to watch the game. Therefore, after finishing our lunch, we got ready for the match. The game began around 3:00 PM; however, to our great disappointment, the CSK team performed very poorly. Most of the players were dismissed early on; notably, Sanju Samson—who was expected to play a pivotal role—was dismissed after scoring a mere 17 runs. This left us feeling quite disheartened.
The team's total score stood at a mere 155 runs. When the Gujarat Titans came out to bat, they chased down the target with ease and secured a victory. My son was deeply upset by this outcome, as he is an extremely passionate CSK fan. To cheer him up, we decided to take him to a restaurant in the evening. The restaurant was situated on the outskirts of our town and featured beautiful decor; furthermore, it was not very crowded. Upon arriving, we spent some time in the garden area, where my son played for a while, before heading into the restaurant to have our dinner. To conclude the evening, we returned home, where I prepared Idli for my son and Chapati for my husband, and we enjoyed our meal together.
Afterward, we stopped at various spots along the way to take selfies, and then we set off from there and returned home. Thus, yesterday turned out to be a truly wonderful day for us. However, we also felt a tinge of sadness as the match was coming to an end. I hope you enjoyed reading this diary entry as well. Please be sure to share your comments in the comments section below.
