Hi guys good day and welcome to another episode of my diary game with mjeelifestyle, how was your day y'all? Mine was great and here's a quick recap of how my day went.
So I didn't go to work today, I actually worked from home. I woke up at 8am, I had some dirty clothes to wash and the thought of it alone made me sad because I literally hate washing and ironing of clothes but I had no choice. I quickly washed the clothes because I saw that the weather was friendly today, it didn't rain so my clothes got dried by evening.
After washing I was hungry and didn't know what to eat because I had nothing and didn't feel like cooking. I had to buy a sachet of custard and milk from a store and I made that. So I had breakfast at around 10am, just the custard I couldn't find akara to buy and I didn't want bread.

After eating, I went on to work briefly on my laptop. I haven't editing videos for my YouTube and other social media in a while because I was sick. I had a lot of video clips I had to put together so I stayed up working from 10am till 1pm and then I fell asleep because my eyes were heavy.

I woke up around 3pm and my stomach was biting from hunger, that custard didn't help at all. So I got dressed and headed to the market, my initial plan was maybe to make stew but I saw this bunch of plantain and I went to bargain from the seller. She said #6000 naira for the whole bunch at first, we went back and forth and finally I got the plantain for #4000 naira. I haven't had plantain porridge in a long time so I have been craving for it and decided to make it when I saw this fresh bunch that came straight from the farm. Do you think that the price is fair?
I got some vegetable leaf, fresh ice fish, peppers and other ingredients and then took a bike home.

When I got home I immediately got undressed, I bought this biscuit from the market and I ate it and drank water because I needed strength and momentum to start cooking. I also went to bring in the clothes I had washed in the morning and I placed them in a chair where I would fold them later.
I then proceeded to the kitchen, first thing first I prep my ingredients, washed and cut up the fish then steamed it and set it aside. Then I prep the plantain and cut it into small pieces and placed it in a pot, added some water not too much water and allowed it to cook

I then added my seasonings, grounded crayfish, onions, peppers, palm oil and some salt too. Covered it and allowed it to cook together.

After a while I added the fish I had steamed with the stock, I added it at that time and not at the initial time because I didn't want the fishes to break not scatter.

Last thing I added was my washed and sliced vegetable leaves and I took that off the fire because I like my vegetable to be fresh and not overcooked

And our food was ready, it looked so good and tasted so good too. I dished out the one I had for dinner and packed up the remaining one which will go into the refrigerator later when it has cool down. Don't mind the plenty fishes I put in the plate, it's just for the pictures hahahaha. I actually finished cooking at 7pm, good thing is that the was power supply, the had been light the whole of today.

I had my bath after cooking, I wanted to do it before eating. After bathing I did my skincare and sat down to enjoy my premium porridge by then it already like 7.30pm.......damn it was super delicious my mouth is watering as I'm typing this.
Craving satisfied for real, I enjoyed the meal so much I'm not exaggerating.
