The Diary Game: 28th April, 2026. Another day to be grateful to God for a good student and a successful business.
There are people that God will bring your way, right? And you’ll just know that this energy is exactly what you need to achieve all the dreams you want to achieve. That’s exactly what I’m experiencing with my new student who joined a few days ago.
This guy has been everything any business owner would pray for. He comes early, not just early, but prepared. Let me tell you how it happened today.
By seven o’clock, I was already up quite early. But my phone battery was low because I left my charger at work yesterday. So I couldn’t charge it overnight. It was really bad. I couldn’t do anything because my charger wasn’t with me.
This morning, I managed to power my phone with my cousin sister’s charger. Immediately I turned it on, the first call I got around seven was from my student. When I picked up, he told me he was already at the shop. I was like, “Ah, seriously? You’re there already?” He said yes. I told him I’d be on my way.
Normally, I resume by eight o’clock. I don’t open my shop by seven. But I had to quickly get ready and go meet him. When I got there, he had already been around even before seven, based on what he told me—maybe around six or so. I was surprised, like, “Ah, since when? Why did you leave home that early?” And we talked about it.
I opened the shop, and we went in together. We cleaned up the place together. After cleaning, we sat down for a few minutes. Luckily, NEPA brought light early today, so we were able to work.
While we were doing some class activities, I had to step out to get some software I needed. It took longer than I expected, but when I came back, I met my students busy working.
Honestly, I was really, really satisfied. I love the energy they are putting in. And ever since this particular student joined, the entire atmosphere in the shop has changed. I already had students before, but since he came, everyone has become more serious. And it just makes sense...it really does.
Later on, my lady was around too. She wasn’t feeling too well. it started from last night. But somehow, things ended on a better note because she smiled and felt a bit better before she left around four o’clock.
From four to six, everything was calm. I had a few customers come in for jobs, and my students were actively working. It actually gave me some time to rest. Even while working, there was a bit of playful energy around, and the whole place felt lively. Everywhere was busy,so busy that even my neighbors noticed the difference. They could tell things were picking up. And honestly, I loved it. I really loved the whole vibe.
By six o’clock, I closed the shop, locked up, and headed home with my junior brother. When I got home, I was very hungry because I hadn’t really eaten anything all day.
I was served rice and beans. I ate,
I took my bath, and then relaxed a bit. I spent some time on my phone, talked to a few friends, and also checked in with my lady.
And that was how my day went.
It might not seem like much, but I’m grateful to God. The kind of energy I need to achieve what I want is finally here and I love it. I truly love it.

Assalamu Alaikum!
The way you’ve written in your diary really highlights the impact one student's dedication can have on a workplace. His commitment and professionalism influenced everyone in a positive way. Even when faced with some difficulties, your appreciation and mindfulness shone through. Keep fostering that positivity and think about recognizing dedication—it'll boost your business's development.
MaAssalam!
