The Diary Game: 8th May, 2026. Dress Well, It Boost Confidence, Appreciate God Even For The Simple Days
One of the things that really blew my mind this week was how intentional I was about my appearance whenever I stepped out.
I made sure I wore my best fit whenever I was going out this weekend. You know what that does? It makes people see you differently. It makes people see you bigger, better, and with more respect.
That’s crazy because I’ve always known this, but the feeling never gets old. It’s always worth it.
So I left for work quite early today. I had some graphic design jobs to handle, so I spent part of my morning working on them before heading to the shop. As usual, when I got there, I did my normal cleanup.
After cleaning up, I sat down and a few customers came in. Today was kind of dry though. Honestly, it felt more like a Saturday. From my experience, the environment was unusually calm. Not many people were coming into the shop, and even outside on the street, there weren’t many people around.
A few people still came in for some work, and I had a session with my student... We still on the Mavis beacon part of the teaching and my boys are quite catching up.
My lady came around, and today she brought egg rolls. These egg rolls were so massive that I had to quickly take pictures of them.
Crazy stuff 😂 I actually showed her the place and I remember my first experience there when I first patronized the edge roll seller. I asked the woman selling them why she makes them that big, and she said it’s because she wants people to buy quickly. Smart move.
I ate the egg roll with my regular kunu. My lady, my brother, my student, and I all ate together. We finished everything together.
Fast forward to around 5pm, the place started getting a little busier as people were returning from work.
my student closed for the day and left. Everybody eventually left too, and it was just me alone at the shop.
I used the quiet moment to work on some quick write-ups for my new Facebook account before closing for the day.
When I got home, I actually had no appetite for swallow or cooked food. So I ended up taking garri with some chilled water.
That was basically how I rounded up my day.
I’m about to sleep now because I still have some graphic design work to finish tonight and deliver tomorrow.
