Hello Everyone!!
I hope you all are good and doing well. Today I'm here to be a part of this amazing SLC S-32-W1// "Traditional Milkshakes that beat the heat- Almond Milkshake" . First of all I would like to congratulate @jyoti-thelight for being selected as contest organiser in SC-S32.
Let's move towards the contest task;
1-What are the traditional cold beverages of your region? Why should we consume more cold beverages during the summer season?(2 Marks)
The classic chilled drinks that are a popular choice among summer enthusiasts:
Pakistan's king of the summer season.
Malai over lassi with salt, cumin and black pepper; lemongrass on the side. The substance is dense, refreshing and energizes you.' In Punjab, it's common to see people eating after a heavy meal.
The summer signal is essentially the bright red syrup.'... Either grate it into chilled milk or add water, ice, and lemon. At temperatures of 40°C or higher, it's sweet, fragrant and every dukan has a glass at their disposal. ".
Made with roasted gram flour, water, lemon, black salt and occasionally mint. Farmers and outdoor workers are fond of it. It is widely used. The drink is mild and slightly sweet, without the added sugariness that sodas usually have.
Freshly squeezed lemon, mint and black salt on the street cart.'... The price is reasonable and the drink refreshing, while the sound of machines and foam on top are truly nostalgic.'".
– More common during Ramadan and Eid, but also good for heat. Almonds, poppy seeds; cardamom; saffron in milk. A refreshing and sweet flavorful blend.
Drink: A combination of amarind plum and dried plume. Slightly sweet, dark and very melancholy. Promotes digestion after consuming oily food.
We consume more cold beverages during the summer season because in summer Pakistan's temperatures in most of area rises to 40-44 °C . For hydration drinks and balancing of electrolytes these drinks are commonly used . They improve digestion, balance electrolytes and give hydration.
