The Jurain and Alambagh Steel Market are very old markets; the shops here have been operating for a long time. Today, I will visit Mother Doa and Farid Dadhi Bhandar and set a pin on the Steem-Atlas map as well as answer the questions given by the honorable organizer.

Jurain Bazar in the capital, Dhaka, is a very old market. The exact history of the origin of this market is not known. However, it is known from the elderly that this Jurain Bazar and each of the shops located inside it is more than 50 years old. The traders of the area have been doing business here for generations.
People from different parts of the country have come here to do business and have now become permanent residents. Mayer Doa and Farid's Dadhi Bhandar, which I visited, is one such shop. The owner of the shop, Farid, used to come here to do business with his father, and now Farid's son is running the business.

Although we do not accept the items here directly, the shop collects important cooking items during big events like weddings, birthdays, seminars, etc. Although the shop seems small, it has a large kitchen, a godown, where there is a sufficient amount of item stock.

The items that Mayer Doa and Farid's Dadhi Bhandar is decorated with are pure ghee, sour curd, cream sour curd, mawa, morabba, red mohan, hogla, turkey, gamcha, towel, American cloth, charcoal, borhani, etc.
All items are sold both retail and wholesale. There are two refrigerators in the shop, where yogurt, borhani, and butter are kept. The small-scale shop has beautifully arranged samples of each item. From now on, after selecting the product, it is supplied from the godown. The goods of the shop are kept only for retail sale.

Since the shop is on the side of the road, numerous customers come and go every day. In addition, Jurain Market is a very old market. The shops here are also very old. The shopkeepers conduct their business with utmost care, due to which there is always a presence of customers here.
Mayer Doa & Farid Dadhi Bhandar is open for customers every day of the week; it never closes. It is open every day from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm.

The shop has two ceiling fans and adequate lighting. The shop is protected by CCTV cameras. Although the shop does not have its own security guard, the market authorities have arranged for a security guard. As a result, there is no possibility of any untoward incident. The environment of the shop is fairly clean, but since the shop is located on the side of the road, naturally some flour enters the shop. However, the shopkeeper keeps the shop clean after some time.

It is known from the locals that they are the original traders here. And are currently local residents of this area.
At first, the entrepreneur of Farid Dadhi Bhandar started with the business of yogurt. He used to make yogurt himself and sell it in a small shop. Due to the good quality of the yogurt, he gradually expanded his business. And started selling items required for various events.
