My dairy game:(15/06/2026) going to the farm, resting for the day and chanting with friends

Good evening everyone and welcome to another diary section @abdulsamadyusuf.

Today was a break day for us on site. No work at all, so it was a free day to rest and handle other things. I left home around 7am and went to the farm. My dad had already uprooted the cassava from the soil. My own job was conveying it to the market where it was going to be sold. I joined other sellers at the cassava market and dropped my own. I took about 2 wheelbarrows of cassava to the market. The two wheelbarrow of cassava I sold was 8000 naira. Sold everything and left the market around 9am.

Got home, had my shower, ate rice and stew that was kept for me. Then I slept for about 4 hours straight. Honestly, I needed it. I’ve been working for the past 1 week without proper rest, so this sleep was a good relieve for me.After Zuhur prayer around 1:30pm, my mom came back and asked me to pound cassava for Amala. I helped her pound and filter it for our evening meal.

In the evening I went out to gist with my friends. We talked about what’s happening in the country - our leaders, school, politics. Good discussion. Came back home after that to help the children at home with their homework so they won’t be flogged in school tomorrow. So I have to just retire for the day because we have a big day tomorrow cause we will be resuming another work tomorrow on site and I need all the rest I need so that we will be fully active to carry out any job given. I have not actually gotten any call from my boss but I am expecting one soon since we had a good recommendation from the previous work we did we have been getting a lot of contact from other clients wanting us to do a job from them and it is a foody thing for someone to have a good handwork and for you to be serious with it because you will always have jobs coming your way once you know what you are doing and that's how my day went thanks and see you guys tomorrow for another diary session @abdulsamadyusuf. Rest is also part of the work. You can’t work with a weak body system. 1 week straight on site,my body needs break.Tomorrow we’re back to site work. Let’s see what the day brings.
