The day started with a refreshing surprise. Early in the morning, the weather was incredibly pleasant, and a light drizzle had begun to fall. The soft raindrops, cool breeze, and cloudy sky created a peaceful atmosphere that made everything feel calm and fresh. Instead of staying indoors, I walked up the stairs to the rooftop to enjoy the weather for a few minutes.
From there, I could see the rooftops around the neighborhood, while the gentle rain continued to fall. It was one of those simple moments that brings comfort without needing anything special. I stood there quietly, enjoying the fresh air before getting ready for work.
After spending some time on the rooftop, I left for the shop as part of my daily routine. Business was normal, and after a short while, an unexpected visitor arrived. It was a young man who had worked with us around two or three years ago before leaving the job. Seeing him again after such a long time was a pleasant surprise. We welcomed him warmly, and soon we started talking about old memories, work, and how life had changed over the past few years.
He shared what he had been doing since leaving the shop, and we also updated him about the changes that had taken place here. The conversation felt natural and friendly, bringing back memories of the days when we worked together. Time passed quickly while we were talking, and it reminded me how people may move on to different paths, but old workplace relationships often remain meaningful.
By the end of the day, I felt grateful for both the beautiful weather in the morning and the unexpected visit from an old colleague. Sometimes, ordinary days become memorable because of simple moments like enjoying light rain or reconnecting with someone after a long time.
