It is of no doubt that insurgency has become one of the major challenges facing my country in recent years. It has significantly affected the country in many ways, causing serious economic, social, political problems and loss of lives. The insurgent groups attacks has led to the lost of thousands of innocent citizens, security personnel, and community leaders. This has created fear and insecurity among the people.

The effects or memories caused by these insurgents are the destruction of property and infrastructure. Homes, schools, hospitals, markets, roads, have been destroyed during attacks. Moreso these effects aren't positive but fully negative and can't be over emphasized. Many children have been forced to stay out of school because of insecurity, which negatively affects their future.

Insurgency also has a severe impact on the economy. Businesses are often forced to close down in areas affected by violence, leading to unemployment and reduced income for families. Farmers are unable to cultivate their land due to fear of attacks, resulting in lower agricultural production and food shortages. Investors may avoid investing in insecure regions, which slows down economic growth and development.

As I'm putting this up, many families are forced to leave their homes and seek refuge in safer locations or internally displaced persons camps. Living conditions in such camps are often difficult, with limited access to food, clean water, and healthcare services.
Addressing insurgency requires collective efforts from the government, security agencies, communities, and citizens to promote peace, security, and sustainable development. And I will still say dear government your efforts aren't felt, please let our lives matter not just our votes during elections.
----Pray for us----
