The Diary Game: The Meeting That Spoke to My Soul, Movies All Day, and Rain at Night (03/05/2026)

Hello everyone! I am @gideonova and welcome back to another session of my diary. Let's get on with it! 😊

When my family and I woke up we decided to cook white rice and stew. Fortunately the stew was already available — my mom had cooked it the day before — so I simply warmed it while she handled the rice. When everything was ready I quickly went to feed my dog and then joined the family at the table. We had rice and beans with stew and it was delicious. A great way to start the day. 🍚

After eating we started preparing for our Christian meeting. We joined in after some time and it ran for about two hours. Now I won't say it was boring — because honestly the topic they discussed was so interesting and so on point that it felt like they were speaking directly to me personally. I learned a lot from it and left with a lot to think about. 🙏

After the meeting I jumped straight into Free Fire and played until afternoon. 🎮

At noon my mom let me know that she and my brother were heading to the market. My brother had a practical exam the next day and today was the only window to get his materials. After they ate and dressed up they headed out, leaving just me at home. The hunger crept in not long after so I ate garri and beans to hold myself over. Then I settled into scrolling through Facebook, reading memes, and having a good laugh to myself. 😄

Then NEPA brought light. I moved immediately — pumped water first, then came back and plugged in my power bank, phone, and laptop. Once the laptop was booted I started watching Ben 10: Alien Dimensions. It was one hour thirty minutes long and I was really into it — but about an hour in, NEPA took the light again. Classic. A few minutes later my mom and brother arrived back from the market with all sorts of supplies. They went to freshen up and relax. ⚡

Then NEPA brought the light back. I went to pump water again — because you have to take every opportunity — and then came back and finally finished the Ben 10 movie. With that done I started a brand new one: Legend of Korra. By this time it was already evening. 🎬

I managed to get through about three episodes before NEPA took the light once more. Right on cue my mom called me so we could clean up the environment quickly. While we were doing that we noticed the sky was shifting — rain was on the way. We hurried everything up and at the same time warmed the available food for dinner. By the time we were done I fed my dog and we all sat down for dinner. Then the rain started falling — a calm, steady close to what had been a full and eventful day. 🌧️🍽️
