The Diary Game: Two NEPA Blessings, Avocado and Bread, and an X-Men Ending Worth the Wait 🎬 (02/05/2026)

Hello everyone! I am @gideonova and welcome to another session of my diary. Let's have it! 😊

When we woke up my family and I had a little discussion about what to eat and we settled on porridge. My mom got to work peeling the yam while I warmed up the available leftovers on the side. Once the peeling was done and the ingredients were all in, we placed the pot on the gas cooker and let it do its thing. When it was ready I fed my dog first and then we all sat down to eat. A warm, filling breakfast to start the day. 🍲

After eating, the real work began. My brother and I went outside to wash the dishes. It took a while but we got through it. After a short rest, NEPA surprised us with light! My mom immediately rushed to pump water while I loaded clothes into the washing machine and plugged in everything that needed charging. With all that sorted I turned on the laptop and decided it was finally time to catch up on an old show I had been putting off. I watched six episodes straight before NEPA took the light again — and the series was ten episodes so I didn't quite finish it. The sleepiness crept in so I lay down for a nap and by the time I opened my eyes it was already afternoon. ⚡😴

In the afternoon I was feeling hungry and I was craving something specific. I sent my brother out to buy bread because I wanted to eat it with avocado. When it arrived it was honestly better than I expected — tasty and satisfying in a way I didn't anticipate. Simple combo but it delivered. 🥑🍞

After eating I jumped into Free Fire with my friends for a while and we had a good session. Then my mom said we needed to go outside because some activities had come up. We went out and my mom and I started picking beans together. She set up the coal pot and put the beans on to cook while my brother and I cleaned up the environment around the house. We kept at it all the way till evening. 🎮🫘

Then something truly unimaginable happened. NEPA brought light again — in the evening — after already bringing it in the morning. We were genuinely shocked. My mom went straight to pump more water while I plugged in my phone and power bank. With the food already on the coal pot cooking I had the perfect window to rest and I used it to finally finish the remaining episodes of X-Men. The ending was really interesting and well worth the wait. 😄📺

When the show was done I went to pump water again — because honestly you never know when the light will go and it is always better to be prepared. We checked on the beans, carried the pot inside, and turned off the coal pot since it was night already. I fed my dog and then we all sat down to eat rice and stew. It was so delicious and the perfect way to close out a long and very eventful day. 🍚
