The Diary Game:[13/7/2026] A Day With Me As I Attend Boys and girls Brigade Practice.

Hey 👋 guys welcome to another episode of the Diary Game with yours truly @jay9345 and today I will be sharing with you how my day goes as i attend boys and girls brigade practice for the upcoming event.

So guys today as I woke up in the morning I first prayed 🙏 to God for Granting me the privilege to see another blessed day today and I went ahead with my morning chores . Firstly I made my bed after sleeping then fetched water as usual ,take care of the house first because charity begins at home and cleanliness is next to Godliness.

After I'm done with the morning house chores I cooked my breakfast 😋 so guys today we're having carbohydrate today in the seven classes of food we have which is yam porridge so guys this morning I prepared some yam porridge for breakfast though I was absent minded when cooking it,that it nearly burnt but it didn't.

So guys firstly lemme tell you the meaning of boy's and girl's brigade. The Boys' Brigade (BB) and Girls' Brigade (GB) are international, church-based youth organizations. They are structured like a voluntary military unit (with uniforms, marching parades, and ranks) but focus on building good character, Christian values, leadership, and life skills in young people. ​They operate as separate organizations but share almost identical goals, often working side-by-side in local churches both catholic and Anglican though some private churches sometimes do change the name and uniform to their best option.

So guys our practice time was set to 3pm in the evening or partly afternoon but I was a bit busy I came late to the gathering though they have already started because many people has come earlier for the practice so I joined my fellow brigadier in the practice. We did some many things and a bit sports too We did military_style marching and commands

But we first we did Bible study 📖

So guys we the boy's and girl's brigade have
Motto

Emblem

And object (which is like the vision statement).

Motto: Our Motto is sure and steadfast which is gotten from the Bible in Hebrews 6 verse 19.

Emblem: The Emblem of the boy's brigade is an anchor and guys guess what it has something it represents the Anchor represents
Stability , Faith and Hope.

Object: The object of the boy's brigade is the advancement of Christ's kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian Manliness.

Motto: It says seek, serve and follow christ.

Emblem: Cross in the center (representing Christ), surrounded by a circle (God's continuous love), a star (guidance), and a lamp (shining light in the world).

Object: To help girls become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and, through self-control, reverence, and a sense of responsibility, to find true enrichment of life.

So guys after the practice we did a small interactive meeting concerning the problems we face in the boy's and girl's brigade and how to overcome or tackle it to make the boy's and girl's brigade a good organization to join in the churches then I talked with some of my friends and we said the dismissal prayer because our practice ends by 6pm in the evening so we prayer take back the bands inside and everyone went home.
