THE DIARY GAME: GOING TO SHOP SO EARLY AND EXPERIENCING A HOT WEATHER IN THE AFTERNOON [ 17- 06- 2026 ]

Hello everyone, and welcome back. This is @knarfb, and I'm glad to have you here for yet another diary session. Wishing you all peace and blessings.

This morning l was asked to go and buy bread before leaving the building. But heading out to the shop, I had to perform some chores at the house e.g dishes, sweeping and the rest. After that I headed to nearby shop my dad customer place where he always buys his bread.

I took this shot when I got to the shop, apparently the owner, wasn't around but I met a small child playing inside as you can see he appears at my photo also. Soon after the old man walked in and attended to me.

After giving me my bread, it took him a while before he could get some change to balance me. There l was looking at the man searching change for me. I even took a photo of myself while waiting for him. This took up to 4 minutes before he could come up with something and hand me my change. After that I took my bread and headed home. Upon reaching house l headed to the bathroom room straight to freshen up before leaving the building. I actually left the house by 8:39 which was actually the earliest have gone in a while now.

I arrived at the shop and met someone my dad's know he was dropping this huge pots in our shop. He told my dad he bought the pots as samples for some NGO [Non- Governmental Organizations] unfortunately he wasn't selected for the job. So he had to walk away and he didn't know where to drop the item this morning so he brought to our place instead. Luckily, my dad told him he knew someone that might be interested in the pots. We gave him a little bit joy.

Well, after that everything went as usual, in the afternoon there was an extremely hot weather, we even had to bring in some bags inside so that the sun won't wash off the colour from the bag. The whole shop was stuffy. Only God knows how l was able to pass through that.

Luckily evening came quick, after this shot a small boy came into our shop to buy bag after bargaining for quite some time it was time for him to buy the bag unknownly to us the guy did a fake transfer and tried to convince us that he sent the money already. Lucky enough my dad and his sales boy was smart enough to notice what the guy was trying to do. And did give him the bag the guy got so lucky that he wasn't embarrassed by my dad. After that the sales boy went for Sallah and when he returned we started packing in market. While packing in my dad's friends that sells inside market stopped at our place to change his device while being here my dad jisted him about what just happened in the shop soon after they started talking about their previous incident with scammers. By will where done packing in market they wrapped up there talk.

Before the friend left the shop, he gave me this novel to read he had promised to bring it for me the last time he was at the shop. I wasn't expecting this topic but anyway I couldn't reject the offer.

We closed from the shop and my dad had me carrying some bags with him while the other sales boy carried the pot l talked about earlier.
We all went to our friends place in the evening but before reaching there my dad stopped to buy some detergent and gave me. From there we headed to dropped the pot at the friend's place and from there my dad hurriedly left to meet someone with the bags l carried for him.
