How do students view their teachers, in order to create a harmonious relationship?
Dear friends, admins, and all moderators of this beloved community. May we always be under His protection!
Every student generally views a teacher as a second parent figure at school, a source of knowledge that must always be respected, and a role model for behavior. In culture and social norms, there are certain ethics and respect, where every student is encouraged to always be polite, humble, and listen to the teacher's instructions, as long as they do not conflict with prevailing norms.
Students view their teachers as primarily devoted and dedicated. Because, in addition to parents, teachers are considered mentors who play a significant role in imparting knowledge and shaping character, and therefore must be honored and respected.
Nevertheless, a harmonious relationship between teachers and students must be maintained so that each student can be more enthusiastic about learning and receiving knowledge from their teachers. Likewise, every teacher must establish a good relationship with their students to ensure a smooth teaching and learning process.
Here are some key points about how students view their teachers to foster a harmonious relationship:
1. Teachers are seen as respected yet nurturing figures
Students view teachers as respected figures, meaning they're allowed to joke around as long as they don't overstep boundaries. Every student respects their teachers. However, at the same time, they view teachers as a place of refuge and solutions within the school environment.
2. Implementing Manners
The practice of manners, such as greeting, is highly recommended when meeting relatives, especially teachers. In this tradition, students are encouraged to greet their teachers first by lowering their voices, or to pay close attention to the teacher's explanations.
Beyond these two, there are, of course, many other ways students view their teachers. Teachers, too, are human beings who need to express themselves and connect with their peers. While this is sometimes natural, it can also be perceived negatively by their students. Therefore, there's nothing wrong with this, as everyone needs to express themselves to find peace.
However, teachers aren't just found in schools. A true and authentic teacher is someone who has contributed to instilling religious knowledge in all of us, showing us the right path to salvation in this world and the hereafter. Therefore, as a student, we must always be devoted and devoted to each of our teachers, so that we can be saved in this world and the hereafter.
Friends, that concludes my presentation for today. I welcome your suggestions and comments. Please forgive me for any errors in this post. Wassalam.
